Sad News

My Grandfather, Dale Palmer (Mom and uncle Michael's Dad), passed away on Wednesday afternoon. Mom and Uncle Michael were with him. He passed peacefully in his sleep. I saw him on Tuesday night and, at that time, he was not conscious. I got to say what I needed to say to him and know that he heard me, at least in a spiritual since. Grandpa went into hospice care shortly before Christmas and our family was, for the most part, prepared for his passing.

Service arrangements are as follows:

The calling will be held at Shirley Brother's on Saturday from 3pm to 7pm.
The address is 9606 E Washington St., Indianapolis

The Funeral Service will be at Old Bethel United Methodist Church on Sunday at 2:30pm. There will be a 30 minute visitation at 2pm. The address is:
7995 E 21st St, Indianapolis

There will also be a small Graveside Service on Monday morning at 9am.

Dear Jeremy.... We pray that the Lord will comfort you and all the rest of your family through the next few days. We know the circumstances before each of your family are more than one could be expected to bear. But He knows the strength and courage of all of you Warriners and He will see you through this final trial. We are all richer for having been privileged to share part of our lives with your grandfather. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by all of your extended family.

Love, Lilla and Harry

First time Commenter long time reader...lets get an update on the canes...Saw you in church yesterday walking with both Canes!! Is there more to the story or have you gotten used to using them all the time?

Eric

God Bless you and your family in your time of sorrow.
So happy to hear you got to say what you had to say to your grandfather before he passed. So many don't get that opportunity due to distance in miles.
Our prayers are with you and yours as you go through the grieving and healing process.

Hi Jeremy,
Hoping all is well with you this week! Will you be able to come to the Senate hearing on HB 1140? It'll be in the Senate Chamber, so if you come a little early you can get one of their Posh Seats!

Also, reading back through your blog I saw that you've been having problems with phantom pain. I may have a solution for you. I'll bring it tomorrow or to you via e-mail.

And guess what? I got to walk for the first time in over a year last Friday! :) Just a test socket, but it felt great! Another fitting next week... keep your fingers crossed!

Hope to see you tomorrow, my friend!
Best,
Nancy Griffin
